Girls Just Wanna Have Fun was a super fun day where local Girlguiding units (youth clubs for girls aged 5-18) came together and had a great time at Berwick, our county headquarters. As well as activities to challenge and inspire young members, we ran a design-a-badge competition which saw entries from Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Senior Section members from all over the local area.
I'm an active leader in Girlguiding – at the time, I helped run a local Rainbow unit and was also on the event planning team. Maintaining consistency with national branding, we put together a information pack for unit leaders, designed the competition sheets and certificates for the badge contest, and I also artworked the winning badge design in Illustrator.
